645 trainees inducted into IAF

CHENNAI:A total of 645 trainees qualified as automobile technicians, automobile fitters and air force police were inducted into the Indian Air Force after they underwent training at Mechanical Transport Training Institute (MTTI) and Air Force Police & Security Training Institute (AFP&STI) of Air Force Station Avadi.
Among them, 538 trainees areautomobile technicians and automobile fitters, and 107 trainees are air force police.
Air Commodore S Sivakumar, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Avadi, awarded trophies to best trainees-- outstanding performance in automobile technician toSuresh Kumar, automobile fitter to Raushan Kumar and air force police to Ajit Singh.
